Find squares
An empty board and a square name: click it. The classic vision drill.
What it trains
Instant square recognition: e4 as a place, not a coordinate to compute. Strong players know the board the way you know your own street, and every calculation stands on that.
How to use it
Run it with the coordinates hidden, which is the default here: with the edge labels shown, finding a square is reading, not vision. Thirty seconds on the clock; three mistakes end the run.
Do a run from White's side, then set the point of view to Black, where most of the difficulty hides. The result card lists the squares you missed and your slowest find, so you know what to drill next.
