Play the moves

A position from a classic game and the notation that follows: play it out, both sides.

What it trains

Fluent notation reading. The drill deals a position from a classic game and the moves that follow; you play them out on the board, so 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 stops being text and becomes moves you can see.

How to use it

Type a chess.com username above and the windows come from that account's recent games, bullet included; without one they come from famous games, the Opera game and the Immortal among them.

Three, five or eight moves per window, and a timer if you want pressure. A wrong move snaps back and counts as a miss.
